motors designed by us are ideally suited for electric cars – their advantage lying in their unchanged efficiency under constantly changing motor loads. Thanks to a low starting current and, at the same time, a high starting torque, plus a stable efficiency throughout almost the whole speed range, the energy consumption of electric cars can be significantly reduced. In particular, these energy savings can be seen in urban traffic, where frequent braking and starting is inevitable.

Unlike conventional standard motors, motors with combined windings produce higher torques and their efficiency remains more or less at rated efficiency level over a large load range. As a result, the average load of the motor can be increased which leads to corresponding rises in the output of the machines driven by them.
